Janice L. Shorette

Janis Lee Shorette, 79, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 3rd, 2016. She was under the service of St. Luke’s Home Hospice. Formerly Janis Lee Nolet of Methuen, MA, she was the elder daughter of Dr. Leo F. and Beulah (St.Pierre) Nolet.

Janis graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing, Boston, MA, in 1957 as a R.N., and married the late George M. Shorette in 1966. She practiced nursing for over 50 years and retired from Mosser Nursing Home in Breinigsville, PA, in 2001. Janis was a devoted mother, sister and friend to many.

She is survived by son Mark Shorette and his wife Amanda of Kutztown, PA, sister Sandra Quinlan of Kittery, ME, grandchildren Chelsea, Brittany, Owen, and Jonah, and great-grandchildren Violet and Lily.
