James Hammon, 72, of Whitehall, passed away July 13 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was married to his wife of 12 years, Rosalie (Aloisio) Hammon. Born in Shenandoah, he was a son of the late Irvin and Violet Hammon.
Jim was an insurance salesman for over 50 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and had a large blended family.
 
He is survived by his wife; daughters Jennifer and husband Rob Singer, Beth and husband Ray Johnson, Francine Aloisio and husband Keith, Nicolina and husband John Kulhamer, Gina and husband Chris McNally; son Nicola Aloisio; sister Rosemary and husband Leon Bascelli; grandchildren Wes, Lilli, Mary, Sara, Todd, Garrett, Logan, Hunter, Carson, John, Mia, Zachary, Sophia, Taylor, Sidney, and Dalton. He was predeceased by a son Tony Aloisio and a sister Jeanne and her husband Bob Bucher.
 
Services: Mass at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 21 at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall with calling from 9 to 9:45 in the church. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
