Eleanor Johnson, 65, of Allentown, died May 11 at St. Luke's Hospice. She was the wife of David Johnson. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Ebner) King. She worked in medical billing at Cetronia Ambulance Corps from 1991 to 2001, prior to that at Cedarbrook for 10 years and at Capital Blue Cross from 1969 to 1980. Most recently she was working in food service at the Whitetail Golf Club in Bath.

In recent years she was a member of an investigative grand jury in Lehigh County, helping to solve several cold cases. She loved animals of all kinds, pets, especially her fish and aquariums.

Survivors: Husband David; daughter Allison, brother Alan King & wife Joan, 3 grandchildren, niece & nephew.

Services: visitation starting at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown. Services at 7:30.
