Judith A. Harvey, 51, of Allentown, died Feb. 22 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Scott Harvey, they were married 25 years last November. Born in Bridgewater, NJ, she was a daughter of Joseph and Florence (Heinrich) Smerdon of New Jersey. 

As a mom educating her children at home, Judy was very involved in the Homeshooling community. She was also very well known at her church, Lehigh Valley Presbyterian in Allentown where she was known for her hospitality, gentle spirit, and welcoming personality. She was ever ready to be your friend. 
 
Survivors: Husband Scott; her parents; sons Kenneth of Bethlehem and Jeffrey of Allentown; daughter Stephanie of Allentown; brothers Joseph Smerdon and wife Kim of New Jersey and Paul Smerdon of Florida; sisters Sharon Mahoney and husband Andy of New Jersey and Cindy Murray of New York State; nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.
 
Services: viewing on Saturday, Feb. 28 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church, 2200 Krammes Rd., Quakertown with funeral service following at 11:00. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
