Sally Marie (Sanders) Hoke, age 51, of Allentown, passed away January 7th. She was the daughter of Robert Sanders and Merlyn (Thomas) Sanders, and wife of David Brian Hoke, 53, who passed away October 31, 2015. Sally received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Secondary Guidance from Kutztown University. Sally was employed at Pinebrook Services for many years and met her husband there. Later she was employed by the Allentown School District as a Guidance Counselor, most recently at Trexler Middle School. She devoted her life to helping children, even if they were not her own. Survivors: Her beloved children Lexie, 20, a junior at Kutztown University, Andy, 17, and Jessie, 15, both students at William Allen High School; sister Jane Zubia and husband Joseph Zubia and their children Mike, Dave, and Stephanie; sister Lori Sanders and daughter Amy; mother and father in law Jean and A.R. William Hoke; sister and brother in law Bill and Susan Hoke and their children Emily and Will; sister and brother in law Desiree and Scott Hoke and their children Abbi and Kyle. Services: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 16th at Saint Timothy's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott Street, Allentown, with calling hours from 12:00 - 2:00 in the church. Contributions: Donations can be made to "Benefit of Hoke Children", most recently at TD Bank 1828 W.
